This whisky is a blend of malt whisky from the Wakatsuru Saburomaru Distillery and Scotch grain whisky. Its name derives from an area close to the distillery called Junenmyo ("Half Decade"), which used to be a beautiful yellow blossom flower field.

OUR TASTING NOTES: Oak-driven smoky nose, with vanilla, pineapple chunks, dried tropical fruits, tobacco notes. On the palate, creamy medium-bodied whisky with milk chocolate finish and an intense smokiness coming through in the aftertaste.

FOOD PAIRING: Dark chocolate; cheese platter.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Enjoy neat or with ice. Perfect for an old fashioned and to accompany a cigar.

STORAGE: Store in a dry and cool place. Avoid direct sunlight.
