The name of this sake means “only for the glasses” and this bottle is a special release to celebrate National Sake Day, October 1st. This day also happens to be called the Glasses Day, due to the date in numbers (I0-0I), resembling the face of someone wearing glasses--and as it happens, all the brewers in Hagino wear them!

OUR TASTING NOTES: Delicate nose of apple, steamed rice, touch of grass. Medium body with milky and rich texture of cream cheese, rice porridge, and balanced acidity and umami.

FOOD PAIRING: Kimchi; sake-lees marinated salmon; kebab with yoghurt sauce; congee.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Serve chilled (8-12 ºC)
