Tamaasahi DESPERADO
After providing an initial smooth and soothing sensation, the taste develops into something more structured, refreshing, and juicy. No water has been added in the final steps (genshu), making its ABV slightly higher than the average sake.

COLOUR: Pale lemon
OUR TASTING NOTES: Nutty (hazelnuts, almonds) on the nose, with banana notes coming through at room temperature. Creamy palate with sweeter character and mushroom in the finish.
FOOD PAIRING: Roasted wild pork with apple sauce; banana leaf roasted pollock with lemongrass and chilli. The brewers recommend pairing it with dishes that use fatty fish and cheese.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Serve at room temperature
