A mild aroma with a dry taste and plenty of rice flavour! This unfined junmai has been made with Gohyakumangoku rice, grown in Shimane prefecture and milled by the brewers themselves. Its colour derives from the omission of the charcoal-fining process and from the maturation period, which also brings out the wonderful roundness and umami that this sake offers.

TYPE: Aged (koshu) unfined (muroka) junmai sake

COLOUR: Clear pale lemon

OUR TASTING NOTES: Savoury aromas of mushroom and beef broth, preserved lemons, dried figs, and honey. Extremely complex sake with great umami, malted cereal, and Brazil nuts flavours. 

FOOD PAIRING: Grilled unagi (kabayaki); smoked haddock; stuffed mushroom.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Enjoy at room temperature or warmed up (40-50 ºC)

STORAGE: Store in a dry and cool place. Avoid direct sunlight.

For UK delivery, it will usually take up to 2 - 5 working days to be delivered to your address after receiving the order confirmation (It will take up to 3 - 17 working days to be delivered to Isle of Man and Jersey).

Orders will be shipped via Royal Mail with a tracked service. They will send a notification email once there are updates with your order.
