A pinch of sea salt makes this umeshu unique by adding a touch of saltiness and extra depth to its flavour. A great combination of umami, sweet and sour notes all in one umeshu.
The brewery uses salt rich in minerals obtained from the sea surrounding the Izu peninsula and produced with a traditional method. This involves concentrating the sea water first using only the natural elements of sun and wind and then boiling it down.
