Shizenshu Junmai Ginjo
A junmai ginjo from the Shizenshu (“natural sake”) brand, made with organic rice, additive-free yeast, and using the traditional kimotozukuri (or kimoto) method for the fermentation starter. The taste of the organic rice shines in all its pureness in this smooth and clear sake. Perfect as an everyday drink and to pair with any food.

COLOUR: Clear pale lemon green
OUR TASTING NOTES: Rich aromas of sweet soy sauce (reminiscent of mitarashi dango), shiitake mushroom, and a hint of dried dates and poached pear. On the palate, mascarpone and cream cheese with dried and citrus fruits sweetness, followed by savoury notes on finish.
FOOD PAIRING: Chicken and mushroom recipes (like chicken cacciatore); crab and cream croquette (kani kurimu korokke); mushroom stroganoff.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Serve chilled (8-12 ºC)
