Amazake is a traditional non-alcoholic drink made from rice and koji. It’s said to help digestion, to restore the intestinal flora, to stimulate blood circulation and metabolism, and consequently to improve skin complexion–among the many other good effects. Suigei’s version has plenty of natural sweetness and creamy texture with the right level of rice grains left in the drink. It almost feels like sipping rice!
